I have one name but many titles. Each title comes with a responsibility and a weight that I must carry. Sometimes the load becomes too much to bear, and a rescuer is needed. “I am The Other Woman” has become my rescue plan. This book is not something you open one time and read front to back and close never to open again. This book is a resource and guide for the woman who needs help finding the words that may not come easy. The prayer today for the mother is not the prayer tomorrow for the professional and that prayer is different from the prayer for the masterpiece. Each portion of who we are requires a different set of instructions and prayers to help navigate the essence of who we are, and Teira E. Farley has poignantly penned them in “I am The Other Woman”

I received my book on Thursday and I have started reading this awesome message that you deliver. It should be required reading for every person between the ages of 15-40. Maybe there would not be so much stress and confusion in their lives. You have done a masterful job through your powerful words of demonstrating what could save so many of our children. God bless you and all that He has put in your hands to do.

Reading through I Am The Other Woman is like sitting across from a close friend who’s been where you are and brought their map to show you the way out. The words on each page are thoughtfully crafted and presented with compassion. Each confession (and prayer) centers around our connection with God and offers a safe space for honesty, encouragement, and empowerment. This book is like a starter pack (or guide) for reflectively journeying through the many facets of the Christian, black female and mapping out a solid path forward.

Captivating title, captivating read
I received a copy of i am The Other Woman: Confessions of a Black, Educated, Professional Christian at a time in my life when I was overcoming a personal disappointment and had just experienced a major professional disappointment. Needless to say, I was struggling some with seeing myself beyond the disappointments and setbacks.
i am The Other Woman reminded me of who I am and Whose I am, and that setbacks and disappointments don’t change that. It was a page turner. Reading each chapter and confession left me stronger and more confident. I strongly encourage any woman or young girl – wherever you are in your life – to get yourself a copy of i am The Other Woman: Confessions of a Black, Educated, Professional Christian. You’ll be glad you did.

In a cold world filled with setbacks, hatred, rejections, self-doubt, and loveless relationships, women carry so much weight while trying to survive every second of the day. In the book, “I Am the Other Woman,” Teira addresses the sentiments of a woman’s heart and offers words of encouragement and prayer that will help women to push through. The book will cause them to reflect, give them clarity and help them to enhance their prayer life. “I am the Other Woman” is not a ‘one and done’ read. An individual can refer back to this book at any moment, which is a blessing because there are so many who suffer in silence. This is another tool to help them win with a public victory. Teira, thank you for your yes.

Encouraging, thought provoking, convicting yet filled with grace. This books has pushed me to see a perspective of myself that I feared. I have often shrunk back or minimized parts of myself when in certain rooms, I felt unworthy to be in. I dumbed myself down, even when I had to solution to the question being asked in that room. I simply did not speak in fear of the what ifs. ‘I Am the Other Woman’ has given me a release, freedom to not only affirm who God has called me to be in all places but to confess to myself first. I have read this book in digestible bites. Each time I read a confession. I have to sit with it a few days, a week to live out what I’ve read. Thank you Teira E. Farley for transforming my perspective of me. I am liberated to simply be, to walk in purpose with intentionally as God continues to uncover facets of Tiffanie while reading ‘I Am the Other Woman’.

As we navigate through the challenges and storms that come our way, it’s crucial to remain anchored in our identity and purpose. We must remember who we have the right to be, who we can be, and who we are as women. In the face of adversity, let us hold steadfast to our strength and resilience.
Teira, THANK YOU for the reminder and affirmation in your beautifully written book, “I am THE Other Woman: Confessions of a Black, Educated, Professional Christian”. It bolsters our collective strength and determination, and serves as a beacon, guiding us through the storm, affirming our worth, and inspiring us to continue striving for excellence.
We are capable of achieving extraordinary things by recognizing and nurturing our potential…This book, your book, helps us see it.

I must say I was quite intrigued by the book’s title. I honestly had no idea what rollercoaster ride I was about to embark upon with Teira until I began to get lost in the reality that, I am her.
What a rich and empowering experience; the exact reminder that I needed that I am truly the other woman that I often forget. These are words that I revert back to often and find myself in constant reflection of when what I portray is in contrast to what my design and purpose calls for.
“I am the Other Woman” leaves me to face and reflect on my truths. The multifaceted lives we live as Christians (men and women alike) are detailed in such a way that makes each of us easily identifiable and relevant.
Thank you Teira for reminding me to stop cheating on myself and for both allowing me a moment to reflect and navigate myself back to a better me by way of your journey.
